About
I have been obsessed with weather all my life. While attending UW-Stout I built my own anemometer. I attended Weather Spotter training at the NWS office in the Twin Cities and went around NW Wisconsin, for the NWS, teaching Tornado Spotter classes. Now the meteorologists do that. Im a reporter for CoCoRaHS, and used to call in my weather reports to the NWS office in Milwaukee via amateur radio.
I attended UW-Stout and got a BS degree in Technology Education and a BS degree in Vocational, Technical, and Adult Education. I attended UW-Superior and got a MS degree in Special Education.
I have been an amateur radio operator for over 36 years. My call sign is WJøM.
My wife and I retired and now live in my hometown of Menomonie. My email is: wmaves@yahoo.com
