A strong spring storm will bring winter-like weather to Wisconsin on the first week of April.
A low pressure system will strengthen along a track across the southern tip of Lake Michigan, a classic path for snow in Wisconsin. A Precipitation will begin as light snow Monday night across northern Wisconsin. The main statewide event doesn't arrive until Tuesday afternoon & evening. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for portions of Wisconsin where snow totals of 6-10" are expected. It's early and things can change. We will have an update on Monday with the latest information!

Storm Notes
- Heavy Snow - 6-10" for northern/central Wisconsin with locally higher amounts possible including Eau Clare, Wausau, and Marinette. Adjustments in snow totals may be needed as we get closer.
- Rain to Snow - Precipitation may start as rain/mix but change to snow Tuesday night in the south.
- Warmer by the lake - Surface temperatures will be warmer near Lake Michigan on Tuesday which could lead to lower-than-forecast amounts?
- Gusty Winds- winds gusts to 30-40MPH.
