Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder working into Wisconsin this morning will continue through the day off & on.
T-storms will redevelop across southern Wisconsin this afternoon, some which could be strong. Best chance for severe will be south of I94/HWY 14.
Severe t-storm chance this afternoon but limited by clouds and the amount of destabilization. Progs show nicely veered & sheared soundings, overall bulk shear is on the weak side. Thermos are only okay. Overall picture looks supportive of strong/severe storms with plenty of synoptic spin. Most of the activity will stay on the Illinois side of the border which is one reason why this hasn't been talked about very much. I think weak tornadoes are possible and could actually be the most common form of severe weather today? I will chase today if we can get some clearing or see things coming together.
