FEB 7, 2019 | 13.1" in Ashland Wisconsin - Major Winter Storm

A major winter storm will start Wednesday night and intensify on Thursday bringing a variety of precipitation types to Wisconsin. The first portion of the storm will occur Wednesday night followed by a lull in the morning, perhaps some drizzle. The storm intensifies during the mid-day hours with heavy snow developing across northern Wisconsin. Freezing rain, sleet, and icy road conditions is expected in central/eastern Wisconsin as rain develops in southeast. The storm ends by midnight Thursday.
