Based on the 10 yr average, for the months of Apr - Jun, at Green Bay, WI shows multiple 30yr cycles between 1912 and 1996, even post 1996 in some variations of this analysis. With respect to this graphic only we are more similar to the late 1800's. The cycles of the 19th century were occurring in relatively dry period . That dry period lines up with the solar cycles, drier conditions the stronger the sun got; which suggests that as the sun decreases in activity it will rain more. Unfortunately we don't have many reliable records prior to 1900 and I feel as though we are heading into uncharted territory.
