UPDATED - Snow Returns Tuesday night; Wednesday

After our fourth major system of 2019, snow returns early this week as an upper level disturbance produces an extended period of snow. Snow will overspread Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon and evening. It will end for most on Wednesday morning however it may linger in eastern WI Wednesday afternoon or early evening.

SNOWFALL FORECAST

Everyone get's snow over the next 24 hours. Latest model guidance trended snowier for portions of Wisconsin. The heaviest amounts are expected in north central WI in the vicinity of Wausau - Rhinelander - Lakewood. 4-7" in northeast Wisconsin for locations including Merrill, Antigo, and Green Bay. 2-4" across the rest of northern Wisconsin, upper Michigan, and into southeast WI. The lightest amounts of 1-2" or so will be in southwest WI.
