THIS WEEK- Near average temps, a little cool with low humidity to start. Jet stream is fairly weak during the period contributing to quiet pattern overall initially. Trending slightly warmer later this week with a more active pattern likely to develop. Rain chances develop by Friday. GFS shows Thursday as mostly sunny/clear and I hope it stays that way despite being sandwiched between WED [rain chance north] and FRI [t-storms PM].
THE WEEKEND - Rain chances FRI/SAT(timing uncertain). Likely on the weak side with weak upper level forcing & short wave.
SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK - LOW for now. Watch FRI PM for possible t-storm event. Not a slam dunk though as instability/upper level flow could be stronger. The rest of August should have a couple more t-storms events.
